Our GP Allergy Consultation is a comprehensive service designed to evaluate and manage a range of allergy-related conditions. During this consultation, our experienced General Practitioners will conduct a thorough medical history review and symptom assessment to identify potential allergens and triggers. Based on the findings, tailored recommendations will be provided, which may include lifestyle adjustments, medication, or further testing such as skin prick tests or patch testing to confirm specific allergens ( test not included ). GP Asthma Consultation

The GP Asthma Consultation is dedicated to diagnosing, monitoring, and managing asthma in both adults and children. Our General Practitioners will conduct a detailed assessment of your respiratory health, including a review of symptoms, medication use, and triggering factors. The consultation may include lung function tests such as spirometry to evaluate breathing capacity and determine the severity of asthma (price of the test not included). The goal of the service is to develop an individualised asthma management plan that may include medication optimisation, education on inhaler techniques, and strategies for reducing exposure to asthma triggers to ensure optimal respiratory health.

Spirometry

During the procedure, you will be asked to breathe into a specialized device that measures the volume and speed of air you can inhale and exhale. Small patches containing different allergens are applied to the patient’s back and left in place for 48 hours. During this period, the patches should remain dry and undisturbed. The skin is then evaluated at specified intervals to check for any delayed reactions. Patch testing is essential for diagnosing conditions like contact dermatitis and helps guide avoidance strategies and treatment plans for long-term management.

He completed his medical training at Rio Carrion Hospital in Palencia, Spain and earned a Master’s degree in palliative care from Valladolid, Spain in 2019.
